KAPALUA — The 42nd Annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival returns June 8-11, 2023 for a magical weekend at Kapalua Resort.
This annual “migration” brings together oenophiles, gourmands and enthusiasts of the good life to celebrate, learn and experience the finest culinary trends and viniculture.
Highlights of the weekend include interactive wine tasting seminars:
“A Lifetime of Achievement with Pierre Seillan” honors Seillan and showcases his wineries in Sonoma, Italy and France. He is one of the wine world’s most lauded and humble heroes who has made 30 different 100-point wines!
Regional focused seminars include:
“California Dreamin'” featuring Hartford Court Winery, Brewer-Clifton and Rancho de Ontiveros;
“Tour of Europe” featuring Broadbent Selections from Burgundy, England and Italy;
“Ladies of the West” — Three distinguished women winemakers share their favorite vintages and stories from the vineyard;
And a once-in-a-lifetime sampling of the finest Petrossian Caviar paired with wines from Champagne Louis Roederer, one of the last great independent and family-run Champagne Houses.
The Grand Tasting Gala returns for the first time since 2019! Hosted by The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, the Gala Tasting will feature Kapalua Resort’s family of restaurants and special friends, including Petrossian Caviar, Oysters Hawaii, Maui Cookie Lab and more as well as array of premium and hard to find wines, Kona Brew favorites and craft cocktails from Beam Suntory’s portfolio. Entertainment will be by local favorite band Nuff Sedd.
