MAKAWAO — Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center’s signature fundraising event, Art Affair, returns in-person with a kick-off gala on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m.

The event will mark the beginning of the organization’s two-week fundraiser, “Art Affair 2023: Reimagined! A Floral Couture Celebration of the Arts,” taking place from Feb. 24 to March 10, 2023.

Art Affair 2023 features new and exciting ways to support the arts on Maui, including an after-party event at Casanova Makawao on Feb. 25 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. and a silent auction happening both online and in-person.

All proceeds raised will help support Hui No’eau’s year-round visual arts education programming.

The Art Affair In-Person Kick-Off Gala is set for Saturday, Feb. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. Hosted at the historic Kaluanui Estate in collaboration with White Orchid Wedding, this exclusive event will feature gourmet food by Chef Bev Gannon and Celebrations Catering, artist demonstrations by hui teaching artists, a live auction and dancing.

Enjoy live music by Grammy winner Garrett Probst, Jordan Soon and Liz Morales, and BrownChicken BrownCow String Band. Come dressed in your finest floral couture for an evening celebrating the arts.

Monkeypod Tickets to the event are $195 ($70 tax-deductible). The Art Affair After Dark After-Party will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Join the hui at Casanova Makawao for a night of music, dancing and FUN — all while supporting the visual arts!

Deejay TRVR and Deejay SALVO will be bringing music back to Casanova’s for one night and one night only. It’s sure to be a night out you won’t want to miss! This is a 21-and-over event. Pre-sale tickets are $30.

The silent auction from Feb. 24 to March 10 is open to all!
