The Hawaiian Music Series welcomes John Cruz

John Cruz’s alluring on-stage energy resonates aloha and takes the listener along on a journey of the soul.

LAHAINA — John Cruz, Grammy and Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning artist and musician, will be featured at the Hawaiian Music Series on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the Baldwin Home Museum lawn.

Cruz is recognized globally for his smooth style and engages audiences with rich storytelling through songs ranging from Hawaiian to blues, folk, R&B and more.

His album “Acoustic Soul” is one of the bestselling Hawaii albums of all-time. His music on SiriusXM continues to receive over a million streams every year.

Cruz also contributed a composition and song to the Grammy Award-winning album “Slack Key Guitar, Vol. 2.”

The Hawaiian Music Series, in its 13th year, features popular local artists for an evening of music enjoyed by the community and visitors alike.

Chairs are limited. Blankets, mats and low-back beach chairs are welcome.

The Baldwin House Museum is located in the heart of Lahaina on the corner of Front and Dickenson streets. Paid parking is available behind the museum.
