Celebrate the Autumn Harvest at Lahaina’s Chinese Moon Festival

LAHAINA — Lahaina’s Chinese Moon Festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wo Hing Museum.

Visit the 858 Front St. museum from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday with free admission.

Admission is free for the festival, which will feature Moon Cakes for sale, Tai Chi Sword Dance, Ribbon and Fan Dance, presentation of Chinese herbs and acupuncture, Tea Garden, keiki craft activity, Chinese calligraphy demonstrations, Chinese knot tying, Chinese food demonstration and tasting, card reading, and discussion on the “Story of the Moon Festival and Tea Culture” by Dr. Busaba Yip.
