Shop for local, handmade gifts at Hui Holidays 2020
MAKAWAO — Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center announces the return of its annual Hui Holidays gift shop.
From now through Dec. 24, the hui gallery shop will expand to feature local, handmade gifts by over 100 Maui artists, crafters and vendors.
The holiday shop will feature products like Maui made ceramics, jewelry, hand blown glass ornaments, locally made beauty products, holiday wreaths and more.
“Our community of Maui artists and makers have been hit especially hard due to COVID-19. We’re very grateful to be able to provide a space to support them and encourage our community to join us in shopping local this holiday season,” said Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center Executive Director Anne-Marie Forsythe.
Additionally, the hui is offering an enhanced local shopping experience with “Tiny Bubbles: Shop ‘Til You Pop,” where guests can safely shop and celebrate the holiday season within their social bubble.
Friends, families or colleagues can gather in groups of up to ten to shop for local holiday gifts while enjoying catered pupus and festive beverages at the historic Kaluanui home.
Tiny Bubbles can be booked from Nov. 30 to Dec. 22. For more information, or to book your bubble event, e-mail sharona@huinoeau.com or visit https://www.huinoeau.com/art-events/2020/tinybubbles.
Hui Holidays is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission. It is made possible with support from Ledcor Group.
Hui No’eau remains committed to following all CDC, local and state guidelines for the safety of its staff, guests and community. All shoppers and guests will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
