School to celebrate Ho’ike on Friday

The students who will represent the King and Queen at this year’s festivities are Julio Gonzalez and Emma Chapin.

LAHAINA – King Kamehameha III Elementary School will celebrate its annual Ho’ike on Friday, March 13, at 8:30 a.m. on campus.

The students who will represent the King and Queen at this year’s festivities are Julio Gonzalez, the son of Demetrio and Guadalupe Gonzalez, and Emma Chapin, the daughter of Andrew Chapin and Shastina Cross.

The Royal Court representatives are Princesses Jersea Boreneman, Lily Buden, Sophia Canico, Kaliyah Cutty, Keyla Jimenez, Zairee Nuesca-Naki-Kaauwai, Hanna Schulz and Megan Utrillo, and Princes Mikah Bodick, Jayvan Cabrera, Jon Francis Esposo, Caleb Gray, Kilohi Kaukau, David Kauvaka, Samisoni Savou Jr. and John Ryan Villanueva.

The Conch Blowers are Kawenalynn Ah You, Alexa Garcia, Brandon Rendon and EmmaMaria Rosenthal, and the Master and Mistress of Ceremonies are Cy Yasutake and Selaima Fonohema.

The public and parents are invited to help the school celebrate.
