WAILUKU – Laissez les bons temps rouler! Maui AIDS Foundation announced that Mardi Gras Maui will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, at the Waikapu Ballroom of King Kamehameha Golf Club in Wailuku at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at www.MauiAIDS.org and in person at the foundation office at 1935 Main St., Suite 101, in Wailuku.

V.I.P. tickets for the King’s Feast ($150) include buffet dinner, prime entertainment, live and silent auctions, mask contest and admission to the Deejay Afterparty. Tickets to the afterparty are also available for $20. This is a 21-and-over event.

The event benefits Maui AIDS Foundation, which provides services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, along with outreach, screening, testing and education for local communities at risk for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

“We are thrilled to be back at King Kamehameha Golf Club for our biggest event ever,” said Maui AIDS Foundation Executive Director Chasity Cadaoas.

“This year, we will have the 12-piece jazz band Soul Kitchen, event entertainment by Dazzle Maui, a drag show by ManCandy Productions, psychic readings by Pam Sears, and turntable throwdowns by Deejays Pash_Sean and Kurt. Come on out for a good time, all for a good cause.”

If you are interested in sponsoring the event or donating items for the silent auction, contact Cory Hall at (808) 242-4900. If you are interested in volunteering for the event, contact Shannon at events@mauiaids.org.
