UHMC baking students holding Holiday Sweets and Treats Sale

KAHULUI – Talented baking students and their instructors, Pastry Chefs Hannah Stanchfield and Teresa Shurilla, are once again offering a wide range of holiday treats for sale.
The sale takes place Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 16-18, in the Pa’ina Building on the University of Hawaii Maui College Campus.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. all three days. Pre-orders may be placed online at shop-mauiculinary.sodexomyway.com/gifts-more (note that all online orders must be picked up on Monday, Dec. 16).
All proceeds benefit the UHMC Culinary Arts Program.
Here’s the tempting menu, with something for every sweets lover on your list (including yourself): Traditional Holiday Stollen, $18.50; Traditional Italian Holiday Panettone, $10.50 (chocolate or dried fruit); Deluxe Bonbon Box, 32 pieces for $36, eight pieces for $12.50, six pieces for $8.50, or four pieces for $6.50; Holiday Truffle Box, eight pieces for $12.50, or five pieces for $10; Nougat Box, $6.50; Peanut Brittle, $6.50; or
Fruit Jellies, 12 pieces, $8.50.
