Celebrate Halloween at The Wharf

By Staff | Oct 31, 2019

Damien Awai will perform on Center Stage from 5 to 7 p.m. on Halloween.

LAHAINA – The Wharf Cinema Center is proud to present 36 years of “Halloween Happenings.”

Come and join in on this “spooktacular” and fun-filled day, which takes place on Thursday, Oct. 31.

This year’s events at The Wharf will be slightly different, as the center officially “retired” its Karaoke Costume Contest.

After 35 years of ghoulish singing, it was time for a change.

In addition to decorating the center, The Wharf will offer face painting and balloon twisting for keiki and adults.

There will also be live entertainment on Center Stage.

The annual Keiki Halloween Parade down Front Street begins at 4:30 p.m. Kids can walk in the parade and, at the same time, participate in trick or treating.

The Wharf Cinema Center will be one of the ghoulish stops. The keiki will make their way from Outlets of Maui down Front Street into Campbell Park, The Wharf and then down to 505 Front Street.

The trick or treating happens from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Starting at 3 p.m. keiki and adults can stop by at the front of The Wharf for face painting and balloon twisting with Jolie until 6 p.m.

Damien Awai will perform on Center Stage from 5 to 7 p.m., and The Lamonts will rock the night away at Cool Cat Cafe from 10 p.m until closing.

Down the Hatch will host its own Halloween party with Deejay Ron and Deejay Leatherface from 10 p.m until closing.

There will be Halloween dining specials at select Wharf restaurants and late night Halloween hours.

The Wharf Shops & Restaurants are located at 658 Front St. across from the historic Banyan Tree. There is parking located directly behind the shopping center or catch the Maui Bus.
