Kalani Pe‘a to headline benefit supporting Maui kupuna

KAANAPALI – Two-time Grammy Award winner Kalani Pe’a will headline Hale Makua Health Services’ annual fundraiser, Kokua for Kupuna.

Guests will be treated to an evening oceanfront and under the stars on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Kaanapali on the Ocean Lawn.

Registration will open at 5 p.m. with the formal program beginning at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the fundraiser help frail elders and disabled individuals who cannot afford healthcare services.

Kokua for Kupuna will also include an opening performance by Maui’s own Koa band, a Hawaiian buffet dinner, two hosted drinks and silent auction with over 100 items from local retailers and restaurants.

Tickets are $150 for adults, $40 for keiki 5-12 years old, and $1,500 for a reserved table of ten.

This year’s event will honor the Sentry Tournament of Champions for its vital role and commitment in ensuring that Hale Makua is, and continues to be, a resource for generations of kupuna to come.
