Individual tickets and tables now available for Fur Ball Gala
PUUNENE – Maui Humane Society announced that individual tickets and tables are now available for the 2019 Fur Ball Gala being held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Wailea Beach Resort.
This year’s event, “Studio Fifty Fur Ball: A Disco Dance Party,” will include a gourmet buffet dinner, no-host bar, live and silent auctions, as well as live entertainment from the Mainland band Disco Dick and The Mirror Balls.
“We are so excited about our upcoming Studio Fifty Fur Ball event. It will be a great night of fun, friends and sharing information about the lifesaving work that we are doing,” said Jerleen Bryant, CEO, Maui Humane Society. “It fills our hearts to know how many people in the community care for our homeless animals and want to support the work that we are doing at the Maui Humane Society. We hope to see everyone there.”
Hawaii News Now reporter Mileka Lincoln will serve as emcee for the event. Mileka has been working with Hawaii News Now for six years and is known for her diverse reporting on everything from the Kilauea eruption to the annual Merrie Monarch Festival. Mileka was born and raised on Hawaii Island and has a genuine love for Hawaii and the people in the community. She and her family also have a passion for animal rescue. Lincoln said, “It’s an honor and a privilege to help the Maui Humane Society with their lifesaving work and to help find forever homes for Maui’s homeless pets.”
