Two fun family events coming to Lahaina Cannery Mall on April 27
LAHAINA – Lahaina Cannery Mall will host two fun-filled events on Saturday, April 27.
The first, in partnership with ‘Ohana Maui Youth Foundation, is the first-ever Carnival at the Cannery set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the lawn area fronting Starbucks. The second is the annual Kite Flying Day from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the southern open space lawn.
The inaugural Carnival at the Cannery will not only provide a venue for non-profits and youth organizations to raise much-needed funds to support their operations, but it will also bring the community together in celebration of culture, art, food and family.
The public is invited to come out and enjoy some of Maui’s favorite food vendors, including Aloha Braised, Sumo Dogs Maui, Grandpa Joe’s Candy Company, Dee’s Poi Mochi, Maui Snow Bowls, Al’s BBQ Pit and Cream B.
In addition to the wide array of food choices, entertainment will be provided by Maui Cheers All Stars, Maui Music Mission, Mahina Ah Sam and the Maui ?Ukulele Sisters. Plus, a bouncy castle, fishing pond and raffle prizes will provide tons of fun for keiki and adults alike.
Martina Nagasako, founder of ‘Ohana Maui Youth Foundation, said, “We are truly excited for the opportunity to partner with Lahaina Cannery and bring the community a platform to support the island’s youth, as well to provide an event for residents and visitors alike to enjoy!”
