The Wharf to celebrate the Year of the Boar
LAHAINA – Wake up the sleeping lions and celebrate the arrival of the new Lunar Year, The Year of the Boar, at The Wharf Cinema Center on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 11:30 a.m.
The Wharf Cinema Center is proud to present its 34th annual Chinese New Year celebration led by Master Ben Seng Au and Au’s Shaolin Arts Society.
At the Front Street entrance of The Wharf, fireworks will crackle as the celebration begins. The dancing lions will make their way to the Mid-Level Courtyard Restaurants as the drums beat to announce their arrival.

After the playful lions perform, the children will feed their Lai See envelopes to the hungry lions for good luck in the New Year.
All are welcome, and admission is free.
