Maui Prep students to stage ‘Junie B. Jones Jr. The Musical’

Maui Preparatory Academy’s Lower School Drama Club will perform “Junie B. Jones Jr. The Musical” on Feb. 8-9 at Napili Kai Beach Resort’s Aloha Pavilion.
NAPILI – Maui Preparatory Academy’s Lower School Drama Club is proud to present “Junie B. Jones,” a fun and vibrant Broadway Junior adaptation of Barbara Park’s loved series.
The show runs Friday, Feb. 8, and Saturday, Feb. 9, at Napili Kai Beach Resort’s Aloha Pavilion. The box office will open at 5:30 p.m., and seating will start at 6 p.m.
This production, under the direction of Kristi Scott and Vania Jerome, includes seven second-graders, seven third-graders, 11 fourth-graders and 11 fifth-graders, all eager to share this wonderful adventure of Junie B. Jones.
“We’re very thankful to ?Gregg Nelson and ?Napili Kai for offering the space to house this show for our students and the community as we break ground for our own Center for Athletics and Performing Arts building,” said Head of School Robert Landau. “The West Maui community has been so generous to our school and students in helping us deliver these performances when we needed the extra space. We can’t wait to give back once our new building is complete next year.”
Tickets are $15 for preferred seating and $10 for general admission. Lap children under two are free.
