Preston Summit, who received the loudest cheers for his thoroughly entertaining performance, won The People’s Choice Award at the 2017 SING IT! Youth Singing Competition.

LAHAINA – Lahaina Cannery Mall’s second annual SING IT! Youth Singing Competition takes place on Saturday, June 23, at Center Stage from 3 to 5 p.m.

The contest is open to young singers ten to 18 years of age. Winners will receive cash prizes: $1,000 for first place, $500 for second and $300 for third.

To audition, just e-mail a performance or practice video to singitmaui@gmail.com along with your contact information (including name, age and phone number), a short bio and explanation of why you love to sing!

After all clips are reviewed, the panel of judges will select ten lucky contestants to perform as the finalists in the SING IT! competition.
