Enjoy shopping, entertainment, food and fun at Seabury Hall’s Craft Fair
MAKAWAO – Mother’s Day weekend heralds Maui’s classic festival and fundraiser; rain or shine, Seabury Hall’s annual Craft Fair creates bright futures by supporting its scholarship programs.
This feast for all the senses happens on Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Located on the grounds of the historic Seabury Hall Campus at 480 Olinda Road in Makawao, the fair consists of acres of activities, booths and attractions. Admission is $5 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Free parking is available; premium parking is $10. Bring reusable shopping bags to keep it green.
Shoppers looking for something made on Maui will find traditional and contemporary art, jewelry, sculptures, fashion, floral designs and plants.
Music fans can take in the live sounds at multiple venues. Foodies will find a robust Restaurant Row. Bargain hunters will love the silent auction with premium prizes and an extensive rummage sale. And the kids can be kids at the giant waterslide, old-fashioned game stations, face painting booths and bouncy castles.
“The Seabury Hall Craft Fair has become a tradition for many Maui families, as a way to extend Mother’s Day into an entire weekend,” said Sarah Bakhiet, Seabury Hall’s head of school.
“People from all over the island enjoy coming to Upcountry to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ over the beautiful flowering trees and to spend a fun day strolling across the gorgeous campus while enjoying delicious food, fun activities and endless shopping options. It’s a great place to meet up with friends for the day.”
Proceeds benefit Seabury Hall’s financial aid program, a fund that supports about a third of Seabury Hall students.
