KAHULUI – What goes together better than moms and orchids?

Maui Orchid Society invites you to find the perfect orchid or corsage match for your mom at the 2017 Annual Mother’s Day Show and Sale on display at Maui Mall (Space B-8) in Kahului on May 11, 12 and 13, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

As the chairperson for this exhibit the past five years, Sandi Amaral has had plenty of experience staging this yearly show.

“We’ll have a large of selection of orchids and corsages to offer; surely, there will be to be one you can take home,” Amaral said.

“Every year, it never ceases to amaze me, that there are show-stopping, as well as award-winning orchids on display, with the commercial growers’ presenting a large selection of exotic orchids for sale that is spectacular,” Amaral added.

American Orchid Society (AOS) certified officials will judge the orchids according to AOS criteria, and ribbons for winning orchids will be awarded.

“Marvel at the beautiful orchids on display and perhaps purchase one for yourself or your mom in honor of this special day,” Amaral said.

“Or come, talk story, meet with family, friends and our members of the Maui Orchid Society… where flowers and fellowship blossom,” Amaral invited.
