Jim Gaffigan’s “Fully Dressed” Tour includes a show on Dec. 21 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

KAHULUI – Comedian Jim Gaffigan’s “Fully Dressed” tour is coming to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Actor, writer, producer, Grammy-nominated comedian, New York Times best-selling author, top touring performer, and multi-platinum selling father of five, Gaffigan won’t be donning his birthday suit as he packs up the tour bus and hits the road with his family for his live “Fully Dressed” tour.

“I’m so thrilled to be eating my way across America again… Oh, wait, I’m doing shows, too?” said a bewildered Gaffigan.

In 2015, he became one of only ten comedians in history to sell out the famed Madison Square Garden arena for the finale of his “Contagious” tour, he opened for Pope Francis in front of one million-plus people in Philadelphia, and his television show, “The Jim Gaffigan Show,” debuted on TV Land to enormous ratings and reviews (with season two out this summer).

He is also in production on the Falcon Films comedy “Drunk Parents,” opposite Alec Baldwin and Salma Hayek, and will lend his voice alongside Carl Reiner in China-based Original Force Animation’s animated feature, “Duck Duck Goose.”

Gaffigan’s fourth special, “Obsessed,” premiered on Comedy Central in 2014, and the DVD/CD premiered at #1 on iTunes, which marked the fifth time Gaffigan reached the top 25 comedy category on iTunes. The album also earned a nomination for Best Comedy Album of the Year at the 2015 Grammy Awards.?
