KAHULUI – La Galeria: Compania Baile Filipino will host an open house on Saturday, Sept. 5, from noon to 2 p.m. at Luana Gardens’ community hall located at 615 W. Papa Avenue in Kahului.

Merienda (heavy pupus) will be served.

Led by Lawrence Pascua, La Galeria is a not-for-profit Filipino folk dance performing arts troupe. It was formed for the promotion and perpetuation of Filipino cultural heritage through the medium of performance art.

The group is comprised of all volunteers, providing education and entertainment to the Maui community, the neighboring Hawaii islands and nationally.
