KAHULUI – The Maui Comedy Festival presents Patton Oswalt performing on Thursday, Aug. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater.

Oswalt continues to find success in all areas of entertainment, from his Grammy-nominated comedy specials to his many memorable guest roles on his favorite TV shows – including “Parks and Recreation,” for which he received a TV Critics Choice Award.

As a comedian, he has shot five TV specials and recorded four critically acclaimed albums, including his latest Grammy-nominated special “Tragedy Plus Comedy Equals Time.” “Finest Hour” also received a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album, as well as a Showtime one-hour special of the same name.

In 2009, Oswalt received his first Grammy nomination for his album, “My Weakness Is Strong.”
