West Maui theater students to perform ‘Annie Jr.’

Join Annie, Mr. Warbucks, Grace Farrell, Miss Hannigan, the orphans and the rest of 1933’s New York City residents as they dance down “Easy Street,” lament the “Hard Knock Life,” and dream about “Tomorrow” with huge smiles and dancing feet.
LAHAINA – Theatre Theatre Maui last week announced its Westside Youth Summer Theatre Program’s live performances of “Annie Jr.” at the Royal Lahaina Resort on July 17, 18 and 19.
Sponsored in part by the County of Maui and introducing Theatre Theatre Maui newcomer Gianna Bauchman as the adorably optimistic, tough-as-nails and spunky little orphan Annie, the four live performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 17; 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 18; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, in the Royal Lahaina’s Ali’i Ballroom. Doors open a half-hour before the performances.
Tickets will be available for sale at the door before each performance, and a limited quantity of pre-sale tickets are available at Lahaina Music.
Seating is first-come, first-served. Tickets are $12 for adults and children 13 and over, and $7 for children under 12.
TTM will hold a silent auction fundraiser at the performances for items such as gift certificates to Lahaina Grill, Duke’s, Kimo’s and Start Me Up Sportsfishing.
