Pineapple Grill and The Plantation House launch new events
KAPALUA – Pineapple Grill Restaurant and The Plantation House, both members of the award-winning Cohn Family of Restaurants, recently announced new events and promotions at both restaurants.
At Pineapple Grill, Kapalua’s neighborhood bar and grill, Chef Robert Barrera has brought back many of the favorite menu items for the bar.
Starting this month, they are re-launching Industry Night for hospitality professionals every Thursday from 6 p.m. to close.
All industry professionals 21 and older are invited for special discounted drink and pupu selections, as well as entertainment in the bar/lanai area.
Industry night menus change weekly and feature the chefs’ creative and fresh bar food and pupus. Look for favorites like the Slider Duo (house ground burger, brioche, caramelized onions and blue cheese sauce); ahi and pork belly, soft boiled egg, garlic toast and Loco Moco gravy; Surf and Turf Tacos (beef and shrimp) with roasted jalapeno aioli and cabbage; and many more.
Happy Hour will start at 3:30 p.m. every Friday through Wednesday and run until 5:30 p.m., as well as 8 to 9:30 p.m. Happy Hour begins on Thursday starting at 3:30 p.m. and runs into Industry Night at 6 p.m.
“We look forward to thanking our industry patrons and having them enjoy a fun night with colleagues every Thursday with Chef Robert and our experienced bar staff,” said Chad Hubbard, general manager.
At Plantation House, the monthly wine series are back on with specials from selected featured wineries each month.
Executive Chef Jojo Vasquez will create specialty pairing menus for each monthly series, and phenomenal specials will be available on selected premium bottles.
Featured wineries will include such notables as Chehalem, Pride Mountain, Heitz, Clif Lede, Truchard and Adelshem (subject to availability and change).

“Beats and Eats” continues the last Friday of every month at Plantation House, with Deejay Eliza spinning fun and funky tunes and Chef Jojo whipping up creative appetizers and light bites.
The next “Beats and Eats” is scheduled for Friday, May 29, from 5 to 9 p.m. There is no cover charge.
