Henry Kapono will perform at his CD release party at Duke’s Beach House on April 10.

KAANAPALI – Duke’s Beach House will host the “Henry Kapono Duke’s On Sunday 2 Live CD Release Party” on Friday, April 10. The event will feature a live performance by Kapono and his band from 5 to 7 p.m. Kapono will also be available to sign his new CD after the show.

In addition to the CD release party, Duke’s will also host the Henry Kapono One-Night Stay and VIP Table Giveaway. The grand prize includes a one-night stay at Honua Kai Resort & Spa, a VIP table and pupus for up to six guests ($150 of pupus) at Henry Kapono and Band’s live performance at Duke’s Beach House on April 10, 2015.

The Henry Kapono One-Night Stay and VIP Table Contest is under way until April 2. To enter, visit the Duke’s Beach House Facebook page and submit your entry on the VIP Henry Kapono Sweepstakes tab.

A winner will be selected at random and announced on April 3 on the Facebook page.

“Duke’s On Sunday 2 Live” was recorded live at Duke’s Waikiki, where Kapono has been performing for the past 20 years for locals and visitors alike.

The music reflects a day in the life of Duke’s On Sunday, where a happy Sunday afternoon crowd enjoys live music under the tropical skies.

The 14-song album includes newly recorded Henry Kapono songs, classics and signature covers. The album features the song “Duke’s on Sunday” written by Kapono and covered by Jimmy Buffett.
