MAKAWAO – A free concert by the Chop Suey Jazz Orchestra will be presented at Makawao Public Library on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 6:30 p.m.

The 19-piece jazz band is known for their upbeat, contemporary big band jazz arrangements. The band is directed by Casey Nagata and features local musicians from around the Valley Isle.

The Friends of the Library of Hawaii is sponsoring this one-hour concert that is suitable for the whole family. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
