Penn & Teller bringing fun mix of comedy and magic to the MACC
KAHULUI – Celebrated for redefining the genre of magic – and uniquely matching it with their own inventive, outrageous brand of comedy – Penn & Teller will perform on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater.
Their 13-year run in Las Vegas makes them one of the longest-running and most beloved shows in The Strip’s history, but Penn & Teller reached an ever-more expansive audience with sold-out runs on Broadway and world tours, hundreds of hilarious TV appearances and dozens of specials, as well as their acclaimed Showtime series, “Penn & Teller: BS!,” and two current television projects: “Penn & Teller: Fool Us!” and “Wizard Wars.”
Along with all these projects, they’ve also written three New York Times bestsellers and produced a critically-lauded documentary, “The Aristocrats.”
Tickets are $45, $65, $85 or $125; call 242-SHOW or visit www.mauiarts.org/.
