Book signings set at Barnes & Noble

Born and raised on Kauai, Toby Neal is a longtime Maui social worker and therapist whose love of Hawaii and experience observing human behavior inspire her books.

LAHAINA – Best-selling mystery author Toby Neal will appear at a book signing from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, at Barnes & Noble in Lahaina Gateway.

Neal will sign copies of “Blood Orchids,” the first book in her popular “Lei Crime” series, as well as “Unsound,” a suspense novel set on Haleakala.

Her eight-book “Lei Crime” series, which has sold nearly 500,000 copies worldwide, follows the personal struggles and crime-solving adventures of a troubled female police officer as she investigates mysteries around the state.

Reviewers have described the books as “unforgettable, fast-paced, authentic Hawaii page-turners.”

Next, author Marsha Barth will hold a book signing event on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 4 p.m. at Barnes & Noble.

Barth, a resident of Wernersville, PA, will be available to sign copies of her book, “The Shattering.”

The book is the compelling true story of a little girl who overcame the horrors of sexual abuse.
