WEST MAUI – George Kahumoku Jr.’s “Slack Key Show Masters of Hawaiian Music” is touring on the Mainland from Sept. 12 to Oct. 24.

Slack key guitar grandmaster Led Kaapana and falsetto legend Richard Ho’opi’i are joining “Hawaii’s Renaissance Man,” Kahumoku, on this six-week tour.

Together, these masters will share the delightful experience of ki ho’alu (slack key guitar), the distinctly Hawaiian style of open tunings; ukulele; and Hawaiian vocals.

The tour includes stops in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Virginia and Washington; visit www.kahumoku.com for details.

During the tour, the Slack Key Show, now in its 11th year, will continue its regular show schedule every Wednesday and Thursday at Napili Kai Beach Resort at 7:30 p.m.

Show regulars Da Ukulele Boyz (Peter deAquino & Garrett Probst) will host many talented Hawaiian artists, including Kevin Brown with Geri Valdriz, Sonny Lim, Herb Ohta Jr. with Jon Yamasato, Sean Na’auao, Brother Noland, and David “Kawika” Kahiapo.

Get tickets online at www.SlackKeyShow.com or call 669-3858. A pre-show dinner at the Sea House with show package is also available. View Slack Key Show videos at www.youtube.com/ user/NancyKahumoku.
