MAKENA – Soroptimist International of Maui will host its second annual Wine and Dine benefit in partnership with Makena Beach & Golf Resort on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Molokini Bar & Grille.

Fine food by Chef De Cuisine Kurt Lesmerises will be paired with flavorful wines by Sommelier Zoe Benrexi. The event will also feature entertainment and the opportunity to take home an elegant gift basket.

Proceeds will benefit local scholarship programs offered each year, including the Live Your Dream Award (previously the Women’s Opportunity Award), Violet Richardson Award, Youth Citizenship Award, and the Sharon Okumura Nursing Award.

Soroptimist means “best for women” and is a global women’s organization whose members volunteer to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
