Meet Rick Nava at Ohana Night

WAIKAPU – The Friends of Rick Nava will hold an Ohana Night on Wednesday, June 11, at Maui Tropical Plantation from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Frederick “Rick” Nava is seeking the West Maui seat on the Maui County Council in this year’s elections.
A graduate of Lahainaluna High School, Nava is president-owner of Media Systems Inc., a photography and video production company in Lahaina. Prior to that, he held finance-related positions at major Maui resorts.
A retired veteran, he served for almost 30 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve as a rear detachment officer, combat engineer and finance specialist.
Nava has been active in community service for many years, including a five-year stint with the Police Commission, leadership positions with the Rotary Club of Lahaina, board membership with various Lahaina and West Maui business groups, including the Maui Chamber of Commerce, and involvement with several Filipino civic organizations.
