Community invited to celebrate school’s 100-year anniversary at May Day Ho‘ike

The students who will represent the king and queen at this year’s festivities are David Sulunga and Akira Foreman.
LAHAINA – King Kamehameha III Elementary School will celebrate its 100-year anniversary at its annual May Day Ho’ike on Friday, May 23, at 9 a.m. at Lahaina Civic Center.
King Kamehameha III students will perform with Lahainaluna High School students under the direction of King Kamehameha III School Music Teacher Joseph Kent and Lahainaluna High School Curriculum Coordinator Lorraine Gomez-Karinen.
The students who will represent the king and queen at this year’s festivities are David Sulunga and Akira Foreman. The Royal Court representatives are Princesses Jesabel Alibin, Teani Buenconsejo, Ihilani Garcia, Hokulua Godoy, Makayla O’Keefe, Anapaula Rodriguez-Gomez, Alexia Truong and Kokoro Yamazaki, and Princes Kendall Beam, Alexander Bianco, Joshua Cacal, Jonathan Donez, Evan Koyama, Max McKuin, Tobey Mizuno and Cael Yasutake.
The Master and Mistress of Ceremonies are Jordan Beam and Shania Tumpap.
