By Staff | Apr 10, 2014

One of Hawaii’s favorite musicians, Henry Kapono and his band will have you “Dancin’ in the Moonlight” under the glowing, pyramidal glass roof of the Yokouchi Pavilion.

KAHULUI – On Saturday, April 12, the Maui Arts & Cultural Center will present another concert in its popular Moonlight Series. Henry Kapono and his band promise an entertaining evening of your favorite Hawaiian and pop/rock songs.

Kapono is known for fusing Hawaiian-style music with his own brand of rockin’ sound. The sets will include classic C&K tunes, Kapono solo songs, as well as hits from his own releases; songs like “Friends,” “Sailing,” “Lifetime Party,” “Here With You,” “Good Times Together,” “Home In The Islands” and, of course, “Dancin’ In The Moonlight.”

Hawaiian music dynamo Henry Kapono Ka’aihue is a multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner and a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter.

Tickets are $30, $45 and $65 (plus applicable fees). Call the MACC Box Office at 242-SHOW (7469) or order online at www.MauiArts.org. Come early for preshow dining, desserts and beverages in the courtyard.
