Maui Prep students to stage family friendly classic musical

NAPILI – Maui Preparatory Academy’s Lower School Drama Club will present “Disney’s Peter Pan Jr.” by special arrangement with Music Theatre International on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. on the MPA campus in Napili.

Enchanting for everyone, this timeless musical production features the adventures and antics of fairies, pirates, mermaids, Indians and lost boys.

The audience will be humming along with the bright and lilting tunes of “You Can Fly,” “A Pirate’s Life for Me” and many more. Take the family out for a night of adventure in Neverland with the boy who wouldn’t grow up!

The Maui Prep Performing Arts Department’s mission is to inspire young audiences with imaginative productions, introduce children of all backgrounds to the excitement of live theater, and create an engaging, entertaining and educational environment in which children and their families can explore and enjoy the arts.

General admission/floor seating tickets are $10 ($5 for keiki ages 3-11) and may be purchased at the Maui Prep Office, from cast members or at Lahaina Music. Limited VIP reserved seating can be purchased for $15 by e-mailing Vania Jerome at vjerome@mauiprep.org.
