All-star Maui cast to ring in the holiday season

The two-day “Kama‘aina Christmas” is a benefit for the Maui Food Bank, Maui Academy of Performing Arts and Toys for Tots.
WAIKAPU – Maui Tropical Plantation has planned a special holiday extravaganza featuring some of Maui’s finest local talent, many of whom recently starred in Maui Academy of Performing Arts’ performance of “Les Miserables.”
“Kama’aina Christmas – A weekend of song, dance, sharing and celebration!” is a musical revue of classic Christmas hits. Performers include Lia Krieg, Casey Murphy, Charles Cook, Leighanna Locke, Bob Wills, Jacqui Sherwood, Kristi Scott, Dylan Bode, Danielle Delaunay and many more.
“Kama’aina Christmas” features live music and dance performances of traditional and kitschy holiday favorites, including “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Blue Christmas.”
The celebration is comprised of two events: an 18-and-over evening performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, and an all-ages afternoon show on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 3 p.m.
Tickets for Saturday’s show are $30 for reserved seating or $20 for general admission. Holiday flair and cocktail attire is highly encouraged. Cocktails and refreshments will be available for purchase.
On Sunday, tickets are $20 for reserved seating, $15 for general admission and $10 for kids and teens. Kids five and under are free. Additional nonalcoholic refreshments will be available for purchase.
Both events will benefit the Maui Food Bank, MAPA and Toys for Tots.
On Sunday, all kids who bring a toy to place under the tree will receive a goodie bag.
