The Wharf Cinema Center to celebrate 30 years of karaoke

Contestants are judged on singing and their costumes in The Wharf Cinema Center’s Ghoulish Gala Karaoke Contest.

LAHAINA – Join the fun where it all began at Lahaina’s longest-running Halloween party. Enter The Wharf Cinema Center’s 30th annual Ghoulish Gala Karaoke Contest for a chance to win prizes that include airfare, hotel stays, fabulous food, Wharf Bucks and more.

Registration for the Ghoulish Gala begins at 5 p.m. The contest starts at 7 p.m. after “open mic” from 6 to 7 p.m. Admission and registration are free.

Face painting by Seaside Henna will be offered at the front of the center.

Take a family picture at The Wharf’s “Halloweenville” display located on the lower level. It’s open daily through Halloween night.

Following the Ghoulish Gala, entertainment continues at Wharf restaurants from 10 p.m. until closing. Nacho “El Mariachi” will play at Amigo’s, Blue Lagoon Lahaina will have music by Q103 Deejay Kamakazee, Marty Dread will perform at Cool Cat Cafe, and Jay’s Place will host Go Get ‘Em and Deejay Love.
