In “Broadway’s Next H!t Musical,” every song is fresh. Every scene is new. Every night is different.

KAHULUI – New York City’s award-winning improvisational musical comedy awards show by the same name, “Broadway’s Next H!t Musical,” will be presented at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Saturday, Sept. 28, in the Castle Theater at 7:30 p.m.

“Broadway’s Next H!T Musical” is an unscripted theatrical awards show. The premise is to create a brand new, fully improvised musical comedy every time – every lyric, melody and movement!

It’s energetic, on-the-spot, creative comedy. The audience decides what goes into the show. Master improvisers gather made up hit song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor and laughter.

The audience votes for their favorite song and watches as the cast turns it into a full blown improvised musical complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue and plot twists galore.

Tickets are $12, $28 and $35 (half-price for kids 12 and under), with a discount available to MACC annual donors.
