KAANAPALI – Hula Grill Kaanapali announced that it will donate a portion of the proceeds from its nightly Chef’s Tasting Menu to the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust as part of its Legacy of Aloha Program.
The three-course menu is priced at $25.95 and is offered daily from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. in the main dining room and all evening at the Chef’s Counter.
The Hawaiian Islands Land Trust is a nonprofit organization committed to working with private landowners, community groups, community leaders and government partners to protect Hawaii’s precious places.
“Protecting and honoring the land on which we live is important to us,” said General Manager Orrin Cross. “We’re excited to be able to make a contribution to a nonprofit that works as hard as the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust does to promote sustainability in Hawaii.”
Founded in January 2011, the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust assumes responsibility for the protected lands currently in its care and for all future acquisitions forever.
On Maui, these lands include Maka’alae, Hana; Waihee Coastal Dunes & Wetlands Refuge; Hawea Point, Kapalua; Ola Honua, Kipahulu; Nahiku; Spreckelsville; Makila Nui, Launiupoko; May’s Landing, Kipahulu; Nu’u Landing; and Ulupalakua Ranch.
