‘Red Carpet Mystery’ to support MAPA

By Staff | Mar 7, 2013

Taking attendees back to the Golden Age of Hollywood glamour and style, the “Red Carpet Mystery” will benefit Maui Academy of Performing Arts’ educational programs.

WAILUKU – Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) announced that tickets are now on sale for one of Maui’s most unique and entertaining fundraising events: “The Red Carpet Mystery.”

Following in the footsteps of last year’s successful “Murder at the Juice Joint,” the 2013 event will take guests back to the Golden Age of Hollywood glamour and style.

“The Red Carpet Mystery” will be an unforgettable evening of intrigue, entertainment… and murder!

Hollywood has just wrapped up its biggest awards show of the year, and you’re invited to the hottest after-party in Tinsel Town.

While rubbing elbows with Hollywood’s elite and enjoying fabulous cabaret performances, careers will be made and broken, scandals uncovered, secrets revealed… and a murder will take place.

With a VIP victim and every guest a suspect, put your sleuthing skills to the test and try to crack this red carpet caper. Or just sit back, relax and watch the intrigue unravel around you.

The mystery unfolds on Friday, March 15, from 6 to 10 p.m. at King Kamehameha Golf Club and benefits MAPA’s educational performing arts programs, which annually reach over 60,000 participants – children and adults – statewide.

Individual tickets are available for $150; a table for ten is offered for the special rate of $1,350 (a savings of $15 per individual ticket).

Tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information, or to buy tickets, visit www.mauiacademy.org and click on the “Red Carpet Mystery” image, or contact Peggy Harmon at 244-8760 or peggy@mauiacademy.org.
