KAANAPALI – Enjoy a spirited evening of Hawaiian hospitality and entertainment on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa’s Grand Ballroom

The resort presents slack key guitarist Makana for a special fundraiser performance benefitting the Maui Memorial Medical Center Foundation.

The live, eclectic music of Makana will provide a perfect entertainment backdrop for guests to enjoy purchased appetizers and a silent auction, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit an important local cause.

The Maui Memorial Medical Center Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide philanthropic support to Maui Memorial Medical Center.

A portion of the proceeds from the event’s contributions help purchase lifesaving medical equipment, fund community outreach and provide training for clinical staff.

Menu highlights include fish tacos for $7, beef sliders for $4 and pork quesadillas for $4.

Selling for $1,500, VIP Table Sponsorship includes seating for ten guests, appetizer bar, complimentary bottle of champagne, exclusive meet and greet with Makana and CD for each guest, 20 percent discount card at Japengo Restaurant and recognition for your business or organization.

The Hyatt Regency Maui invites benefit attendees to make a weekend of the fundraising event by taking advantage of special room rates for event guests only.

Tickets, $45, are available by calling 667-4796. For more information, visit www.maui.hyatt.com.
