Students to stage ‘The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Jr.’

NAPILI – The Maui Preparatory Academy Drama Club will present a keiki production, “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Jr.,” on Nov. 9-11.

The box office and concessions open at 5:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Pueo Playhouse on the Maui Prep campus in Napili.

Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, every day, run-of-the-mill ten-year-old. One night, the bulletin board on the wall above Stanley’s bed comes loose and falls right on top of him. The next morning, Stanley suddenly finds himself flattened!

In a whirlwind of musical travelogue, Stanley treks the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. Come and enjoy this fun-filled play and watch as Stanley closes in on his goal of being a normal boy once more.

The play is based on the best-selling book by Jeff Brown and presented through special arrangement (with all authorized materials supplied) by Music Theatre International.
