LAHAINA – Prost! Cheers! Toast! Okole Maluna! Kampai! Get ready to celebrate Oktoberfest Pineapple Grill style at their first annual Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, Oct. 14, beginning at 3 p.m. in conjunction with kick-off for the Green Bay Packers vs. Houston Texans game.

Enjoy your bratwurst while watching the game on a 60-inch HD flat screen TV on the restaurant’s comfortable outdoor bar lanai. Festivities will last until the end of the football game.

This celebration of all things German is $25 per person. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat, German-inspired buffet.

Culinary superstar Chef Isaac Bancaco and his team have created a cornucopia of gastronomic creations sure to wow the crowd.

Chefs will be front and center at the Grill to Action Wurst (sausage) Station featuring kielbasa (Polish style), pork and beef; WeissWurst – veal and herbs; chicken and apple sausage; Portuguese Wurst – Hawaiian-style sausage; and everyone’s “Ball Park” favorite, Brat Wurst!

Wurst will be accompanied by a variety of buns, condiments and sauerkrauts (caramelized onion, red cabbage, spicy peppers and a local favorite, kim chee).

Side dishes will include Caraway potato salad, pineapple coleslaw, French fries and onion rings.

Maui Brewing Company’s Beer Garden will feature their specialty “Oktoberfest Beer Hana Hou Helles Bock” served by Pineapple Grill’s very own “St. Molly Girl.” Beer and other beverages are not included in the price.

Traditionally celebrated from the end of September through early October, Oktoberfest is known as the largest “Volksfest” (people’s fair) in the world. It’s a time of celebration, great food and great beverages for communities throughout the world.
