By Staff | Apr 26, 2012

Students learn drama, music, dance and stage instruction in Theatre Theatre Maui’s summer camps.

LAHAINA – Registration is underway for Theatre Theatre Maui’s (TTM) 20th season of summer performing arts camps for Lahaina’s youth.

The expanded six-week program is available this summer to students who will be entering fourth grade and on up during the upcoming 2012-13 school year.

Fees are $375 per student, discounted to $360 for payment by cash or check when registered by May 15.

Families are encouraged to submit their child’s completed registration form and payment now, as space is limited and to take advantage of the early registration cash discount.

Registration forms are available at the TTM office at the 505 Front Street Shops, Suite 220-B, or by e-mail to TTMWestMaui@aol.com. Forms can also be picked up at each West Side school office.

A limited amount of partial tuition assistance may be available for eligible families, only if completed financial aid forms have been received by TTM no later than May 25 and if enrollment has not yet been met.

Leading the summer program’s creative team is returning Director Kristi Scott.

Starting June 12, students will receive five weeks of drama, music, dance and stage instruction at the Lahainaluna High School Music Building.

During their final, sixth week, technical/dress rehearsals and public performances will be held in Kaanapali at The Westin Maui Resort and Spa’s Haleakala Ballroom.

This summer’s production will be a musical version of “The Wizard of Oz” in special arrangement with Tams Witmark Musical Library of New York.

Students should preferably be available for all six weeks through July 22.
