KAHULUI – Celebrate Earth Day at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens on Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This free family event will feature a Native Hawaiian Plant Sale, Earth-friendly educational booths, free kapa and lei-making activities, great food and live Hawaiian music!

Angela Kepler and Frank Rust, renowned banana experts and authors of the new book entitled “The World of Bananas in Hawai’i: Then and Now,” will also be at Earth Day for a special autograph session and informal discussion.
