Lahaina Quest Night at the Museum set

By Staff | Jul 7, 2023

The Night at the Museum sleepover program is for families with children grades 1-8 (older and younger siblings are welcome). A guardian must be present.

LAHAINA — Lahaina Restoration Foundation (LRF) is delighted to again present the unique experience of one-of-a-kind sleepovers for families at historic sites in Lahaina Town, with the first sleepover of the next series slated for Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023.

“Our guests of a Night at the Museum will have the chance to experience and immerse themselves in Lahaina’s past in a brand new way,” said Kimberly Flook, LRF deputy director. “Our sleepovers bring a whole new appreciation of a site. We offer guests quality time with staff, lots of elbow room and a clearer picture of what life was like in each space. They aren’t limited in where they can go, surrounded by strangers and by daytime constraints, as regular visits usually are.”

Each sleepover includes activities, crafts and snacks from the past. Everything needed for the overnight stay, including cots, sheets, pillows, toiletry kits and a continental breakfast, will be supplied and is included in the participation fee.

Participation cost is $50 per person/keiki (five years old and above), or $40 per person/keiki (five years old and above) for LRF members. Reservations are required.
