Gregg and Joyce Wada from the Lahainaluna High School Class of 1973 are ready to welcome classmates back to campus and celebrate 50 years since graduating!

LAHAINA — Plans are underway for the Lahainaluna High School Class of 1973 to celebrate their 50th Year Anniversary during two reunions.

The first will find classmates reuniting during the David Malo Day Ho’olaule’a on Saturday, April 22, on campus. A catered Pa’ina on Boarders’ Field starts at 5 p.m., followed by the LHS Boarders’ Chorus and Hawaiiana Club program at 6 p.m.

Classmates are encouraged to purchase their dinner tickets ($23 per person) now at https://gofan.co and to notify the committee that they are attending. A brunch the following day is pending.

The second reunion is scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 15-17 in Las Vegas and will involve a welcome reception, golf tournament and celebration dinner.

The Red Rock Hotel & Spa will be the center of activity and where classmates are encouraged to book their accommodations.

Got T-shirts? A commemorative T-shirt is being produced to celebrate this milestone year and is one more good reason to have classmates respond to the reunion committee now to place their order — even if they just want it as a momento. Size information needs to be placed no later than Monday, April 3, if classmates are planning to wear their special shirts for the April reunion.
