By Staff | Nov 4, 2022

NAPILI — Maui Preparatory Academy invites the Maui community to a film screening of “Broken Molds” on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the school’s Bozich Center for Athletics and Performing Arts.

This community gathering will celebrate Maui Prep athletic programs, with event proceeds supporting Maui Preparatory Academy’s Financial Aid Initiative.

Outdoor activities and concessions open at 6 p.m, and the film screening begins at 6:30 p.m., at Maui Preparatory Academy’s Bozich Center for Athletics and Performing Arts at 4920 Honoapiilani Highway.

“Broken Molds” is an award-winning documentary directed by Jace Panebianco that traces the humble origins of windsurfing and how it became the fastest growing sport in the world.

Tickets, which include one small popcorn, are $12 for adults (14 and up) and $8 for keiki (13 and under). Some material may not be appropriate for young audiences; the film contains language and suggestive content.

Tickets are available through GoFan. To purchase your tickets in advance, visit: https://gofan.co/app/events/726582?schoolId=HI69220.

As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit school, Maui Prep relies on philanthropic support to be able to provide quality college preparatory education for West Maui students.
