LAHAINA — The four Coastal Rotary Clubs will be hosting a West Maui Community Wellness Fair – Keiki to Kupuna on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022.

The event is slated for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the grounds of Lahaina United Methodist Church located adjacent to the Outlets of Maui on Front Street.

Numerous agencies will have informational booths that provide wellness services and activities for keiki to kupuna. Some of the agencies at the fair include Kaunoa Senior Center, Imua Family Services, Red Cross of Maui, University of Hawaii Maui College Dental Program, and West Maui Chiropractic.

Food trucks for the event will be Dee’s Poi Mochi and Joy’s Onolicious Grindz.

A special feature of the event will be the “Passport for Prizes.” Participants can pick up a passport at the Rotary Information Booth and obtain stamps by ten of the numerous vendors and agencies at the event.

The stamped passport can be turned in at the Rotary booth. Children ages 16 and under can spin the wheel to be able to win a gift card from such businesses as McDonalds, Starbucks, Fun Factory, and many more.

Adults’ passports will go into a drawing for gift cards that will be given away at the end of the event. Winners need not be present to win.

Event Coordinator Dr. Allan Weiland explained, “The Rotary Clubs of Maui are committed to improving the health of our community, and bringing all these wonderful resources together will help achieve that goal.”
