LAHAINA — Members of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset recently delivered school supplies and dictionaries to Princess Nahienaena Elementary School.

The school supplies were collected at a drive held on Sept. 2 at Lahaina Cannery Mall.

Five boxes of supplies and a check for $265 were presented to Principal Gary Kanamori. Dictionaries for every third grade student were presented to Lori Kaufman, grade level chair for six third grade classes.

Along with a dictionary, a standards-based follow-up lesson was provided for each teacher to introduce their students to using the dictionaries.

Last week, five boxes of school supplies and a check for $265 were delivered by member Jenny Worth to Hana Elementary School.
