WEST MAUI — Debbie Cabebe, chief executive officer of Maui Economic Opportunity Inc. (MEO), will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s Zoom meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

MEO is a nonprofit Community Action Agency committed to helping low-income and disfranchised individuals and families become stable and achieve economic security, and ensuring that they are active in building opportunities in the community.

MEO connects people in need through a wide array of programs and services that transform their lives and make our community stronger.

Cabebe joined MEO in 2000 working as the organization’s chief human resources officer and later chief operating officer. She was promoted to chief executive officer in 2017.

Members and guests are invited to attend the meeting via Zoom.
