KAANAPALI — The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach and Rotary Club of Lahaina will hold a beach cleanup on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 8 to 9 a.m.

The group will start on the beach side of The Whaler at 2481 Kaanapali Parkway.

Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, appropriate footwear, water, a friend, your smile and love for the community.

Students must bring a parent or guardian for supervision.

Organizers will provide trash bags, gloves and the sign-in sheet for student community service verification (check in with Rotarian Rhonda Park).

All volunteers must follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. Come only if you feel well — stay home if you feel sick. Volunteers are asked to work in safe household bubbles, social distance if not from the same household and wear masks.

Hand sanitizer will be available during the quarterly event.
