Rotary Club recognizes seven Paul Harris Fellows
LAHAINA — Seven members of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset were recently awarded Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) recognition pins.
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation over the course of their years as members in Rotary Clubs.
The Rotary Foundation transforms these contributions into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.
Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
These seven club members received the pins from Club Foundation Chair Alayna Davies-Smith and President Vanessa Moreno at a special event.
Receiving PHF +1 pins for their contributions of $2,000 or more were Judy Bishop, Mariko Higashi and Heidi Dollinger.
Receiving PHF +3 pins for their contributions of $4,000 or more were Liz May and Nancy Montoya.
Receiving PHF +5 pins for their contributions of $6,000 or more were Joanne Laird and Larry Laird.
